Retail Store Manager
Achatz Handmade Pie Co. is an upscale, all natural pie and baked goods manufacturer. Our charming retail stores are a favorite around SE Michigan. We pride ourselves on using top quality local ingredients and having a close knit family environment for our customers and employees. A true "foodie" and lover of all things gourmet would excel in this exciting position.
Duties Include: store operations standards (• Achievement of sales goals through store performance, merchandising, customer service • Insure operational effectiveness and performance against standards • Product freshness through dating and rotation • Responsible for ordering, receiving, and proper stock levels to company standards • Adhere to and enforce cash handling, reconcile cash drawers and deposits) customer service compliance, inventory, shrink, communication, employee development and planning, store maintenance and repair, data entry using microsoft office and other computer applications. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Available weekends and holidays. 40-50 hours weekly. Saturdays off.
Compensation Package Includes:
Starting Salary - $25740-$32500 + Bonuses, Paid Vacation, Free Product Vouchers, and Health Care Packages Available
Minimum Experience:
At least 3 years retail or foodservice management
Or at least 5 years retail foodservice experience
Business/Management/Finance education helpful
30-60 day hourly training
Bakery Outside Sales Associate
DESCRIPTION: Established Michigan based bakery expanding frozen pie line nationally to upscale/gourmet markets, grocers, hotels and restaurants. Seeking aggressive, self-starter for wholesale account acquisition and management. Candidates should possess a high level of confidence, passion, presentation skills, and a working knowledge of the retail/wholesale food industry. We offer one of the finest bakery products in the world. A true "foodie" and lover of all things gourmet would excel in this exciting position. Competitive commissions and travel expenses.
QUALIFICATIONS: At least 1 year Food/Bakery Sales Experience and at least 2 years general Sales/Customer Service experience; knowledge of Trade Shows and ability to travel.
